The SCIC research team has an established track record of funding success with ongoing funding from the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Canada Foundation of Innovation, Mitacs, Alberta Heritage Fund, Alberta Innovates Technology Futures, and Physicians Service Incorporated.

In addition, the program has developed strategic partnerships with industry leaders in the field of device therapeutics and software engineering. Alberta Heath Services has committed to supporting the clinical activities of both imaging units and provides tremendous infrastructure support for its sustainability.
